Traditionally a tooth requiring full restoration must first be pressed with putty to make a mold. The mold is then sent to a dental laboratory where a crown is fabricated, sent back to the dentist, and then fitted onto the tooth. This is a long process that requires multiple office visits and weeks of wearing a temporary crown over a tooth that has already been filed down.
At Desert Ridge Dental, we don’t want you to have to go through that lengthy process. We have state-of-the-art technology that enables us to digitally scan your tooth and mechanically mill out of dental ceramic an exact match. Your dentist will then prep, or file, your tooth and fit the permanent crown, or cap, right where it belongs in the very same visit.
You deserve better treatment and better quality, and we offer just that.
